Central Maine Growth Council

The Central Maine Growth Council is a public-private collaborative regional economic development partnership funded by business and municipalities who share the common goal of economic prosperity for the Central Maine community. As the economic development organization for Waterville, Fairfield, Oakland and Winslow, CMGC believes that a strong and successful business community best serves people living in Maine. They’ve helped develop infrastructure for transportation, power and telecommunications, medical centers and so much more. This administration’s goal is to help businesses succeed, and our proud owner, Chris Gaunce, has a longstanding relationship with this innovative organization.

Colby College

Founded in our hometown of Waterville in 1813, Colby College is a private liberal arts college and the 12th-oldest private liberal arts college in the country. Renowned for its academic programs, Colby College offers a curriculum that’s focused on collaborative learning experiences and education exploration. This institution prepares its undergraduates for postgraduate success, and our Waterville Chevy dealer loves working with them each year to provide excellent auto service for its faculty and students. We sponsor their local radio show, too!
